There are many differences and similarities between  The Hunger games  and the Roman Gladiators.  One of the similarities is that for a gladiator and a tribute a lot of money had to be spent. The had to train them, buy them food so that they could be strong and healthy. They have to pay the place were they would be able to sleep, medical attention, etc. For someone to have a gladiator they had to be rich to own one and in  The Hunger games  they have to be rich as well. Another small similarity that both gladiators and the tribute from the book had to sacrifice their life. They had to fight for their life.
